Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Remasia Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Destination Management Company (DMC) registered in Denmark.
We specialize in organizing and providing travel arrangements and on-ground services in Indonesia for clients from Europe.
By confirming a booking with Remasia Travel, the client (“you”, “your”) acknowledges that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
Remasia Travel acts as a travel intermediary and coordinator.
We design, organize, and confirm travel arrangements in Indonesia, including (but not limited to):
- Accommodation, hotels, and resorts
- Ground transportation and transfers
- Domestic flights and boats
- Guided excursions and activities
- Restaurant reservations and logistical support
Visa applications, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included in any service provided by Remasia Travel.
All services provided in Indonesia are delivered by independent suppliers (e.g., hotels, transport companies, airlines, local tour operators), whose own terms and conditions apply in addition to ours.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Deposit, Final Payment & Full Payment
3.1.1 Individual Tours & Services
Upon confirmation, an invoice will be issued reflecting the total cost of your program, including the deposit amount.
- A deposit of 30% of the total price is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
- The final payment of 70% must be received no later than 30 days before the trip start date.
- For bookings made within 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- For total invoices under EUR 300, full payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date.
- Flight tickets, when applicable, require full prepayment before issuance.
Failure to pay within the stated deadlines may result in automatic cancellation of the booking. Reinstatement is subject to supplier availability and may incur additional charges.
3.1.2 Customized Itineraries
For tailor-made programs involving special suppliers or high-demand services (e.g., liveaboards, private charters, or peak-season properties), payment schedules may differ according to supplier requirements.
Remasia Travel will notify clients in writing if higher deposits or altered payment terms apply.
3.2 Prices
All prices are quoted in EUR unless otherwise stated and exclude:
- Travel insurance, visa fees, and medical expenses
- Vaccinations or COVID-related requirements
- Excess baggage charges, tips, personal expenses (laundry, telephone, minibar, etc.)
Prices may change prior to confirmation due to fluctuations in exchange rates, government taxes, fuel surcharges, or supplier cost changes.
Once full payment is received and confirmation issued, the price is guaranteed except in the case of a government-imposed tax or fuel increase.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Cancellation by Clients
Remasia Travel strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. The date the cancellation is received by Remasia Travel will determine the applicable penalty.
If no reply is received within 24 hours, the cancellation notice must be resent.

Refunds (after deductions) will be processed in EUR. Bank transfer costs are borne by the client.
Processing time may take up to 90 business days, depending on supplier procedures.
4.1.2 Date Changes
Clients may reschedule a booking up to 7 days before the trip starts without additional fees from Remasia Travel, subject to supplier availability.
Any supplier costs (e.g., rebooking fees or fare differences) must be paid by the client.
4.2 Cancellation by Remasia Travel
If Remasia Travel or its suppliers must cancel or substantially alter a booking, clients will be informed immediately.
In such cases, clients will be offered:
- A replacement of equal or greater value, or
- A refund of the difference if a lower-value service is accepted, or
- A full refund if no acceptable alternative exists.
Remasia Travel reserves the right to cancel a trip due to force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond our control).
In such events, Remasia Travel will not be liable for costs beyond the refund of recoverable payments from suppliers.
5. Problems During Travel
Remasia Travel guarantees that all confirmed services will be provided as agreed.
If any issue arises, clients must immediately notify the local guide, representative, or Remasia Travel contact (details provided in your travel documents).
Complaints not reported within 48 hours of the issue cannot be accepted afterward.
If a problem cannot be resolved locally, clients may submit a written complaint within 14 days after returning home.
6. Liability
Remasia Travel acts solely as an agent for local suppliers in Indonesia.
We coordinate services on behalf of clients but do not own or operate airlines, hotels, transport companies, or attractions.
Therefore, Remasia Travel cannot be held responsible for:
- Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by airlines, ferries, or other carriers;
- Force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, epidemics, political instability);
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings;
- Illness, injury, or death
Remasia Travel’s total liability shall in no case exceed the total amount paid by the client for the affected booking.
7. Travel Documents, Health & Entry Requirements
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure compliance with Indonesian entry requirements, including:
- Possession of a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity after departure date);
- Appropriate visa or travel authorization;
- Required vaccinations and health documents.
- Compliance with all local laws and regulations during travel
Clients must also comply with any Indonesian government-imposed tourism taxes, including the Bali International Tourist Levy (currently IDR 150,000 per visitor).
Remasia Travel provides guidance but is not liable for denied boarding, entry refusal, or deportation due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.
8. Insurance
All travelers are required to hold comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical treatment and evacuation
- Trip cancellation or curtailment,
- Loss of baggage and personal effects,
- Natural disasters or force majeure events.
Proof of valid insurance may be requested prior to departure.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of extraordinary circumstances (e.g., volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, pandemics, flight disruptions, or political unrest), Remasia Travel will:
- Provide assistance to reorganize itineraries and minimize inconvenience;
- Charge only for new or additional expenses (e.g., new accommodation, transfers, or flight tickets);
- Seek refunds from suppliers wherever possible, though such refunds cannot be guaranteed.
Remasia Travel does not charge any management fee for handling force majeure cases.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
